This is now, and that was then.

My name is Jessica Lara. I'm a college student. I am tiny. (No really, I'm small.) I'm a collector of random things. A girl with a ton of hobbies. (When I have time.) I just love unconditionally.

I reblog a lot. Sorry. (Actually, no, I'm not.) I mainly use Tumblr to reblog things that I find amusing, or just things i fancy because well, procrastination. Plus I rant here quite a bit. (ignore that.) This blog is by no means well organized. I post my own material once in a while, then I don't... For that, I apologize. ha Follow if ya want, or don't. That's quite alright, too. Thanks for the visit! I'm always up for making new friends!

I post my own photography occasionally. but, You can find them here on my flickr site...

The Swell Season,
Strict Joy

alittlebitofaturk:

Back Broke by The Swell Season

“This is called Back Broke, it’s kind of sad. But ultimately it’s not. It’s that feeling of being depleted of energy when you’ve just got nothing left and you hit that place where you’re actually cool with everything that happens. That moment of where when you’re on a plane where the turbulence is insane and you’re freaked out and you’re praying and you’re praying and then you hit this point where you’re like, okay I’m dying. You just kind of relax. So this is about that but emotionally.

Not a sad song but a sad song.

The thesis of this song is that if you’re really willing to talk about your sadness that ultimately… It’s like the blues, if you sing about the stuff that’s really happening to you ultimately it emanates good stuff.”

-Glen Hansard

“I came on your command, don’t give me false hope.”

This song, it kills me.
